Amateur divers haul historic millstone out of the St. Lawrence River

120 years, lying in the bed of the St. Lawrence River, nobody knew it was there until just over a month ago when it was discovered by a group of local divers called the Scooter Squad!!!

A 2,000-pound slab of carved granite was hauled up on Saturday, August 18th, 2018 from the remains of the village`s gristmill located 65 feet below the surface on the St. Lawrence River.
