About the Course

Unlike wetsuits, drysuits are filled with air. During your drysuit course, your instructor will teach you how to control the air in your drysuit along with your buoyancy.

You'll also learn about different types of drysuits, basic drysuit repairs and maintenance.

How to Start Drysuit Diving

During one confined water session and two open water dives, you'll learn how to comfortably and confidently dive in a drysuit. An experienced instructor will help you dial in your buoyancy and shorten the learning curve.

PADI eLearning makes it easy to fit scuba lessons into a busy schedule. Complete the independent study part of your course whenever, wherever it's convenient for you.

Work at your own pace, online or offline, using a computer or mobile device. Connect with your instructor for in water training, or whenever you have a question.

  • eLearning time commitment: 2-4 hours

With Your Instructor

You'll practice taking your drysuit on and off, determine how much weight you need, and master basic drysuit skills in a confined water setting before making two open water dives.

  • Prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver (or qualifying entry-level certification)

  • Total time commitment: 1 day

  • Minimum age: 10 years or older

Dry Suit Diver Course Cost - $249.00+tax

E-Learning must be completed prior to May 11th, 2024 in order to participate during course dives.

Saturday, May 11th - 9:00am-4:00pm (Centeen Park Brockville)



Equipment

It’s best to use your own scuba equipment, including a dry suit, so that you fine-tune your buoyancy in gear you’ll use on every dive. Your PADI Instructor or local dive center staff can help you find the equipment that is best for you and your diving adventures.
